AccomodationsLodging at Handlery Hotel The reunion will be based out of San Diego's Handlery Hotel in Hotel Circle. The convention center is located inside the facility, and a hospitality suite will be available for communal lounging and breakfasts beginning Thursday evening. We are booking the rooms in bulk, so we'll need your registration form confirmation by July 11th. Rooms may be available after that time, but the reduced group rate is not guaranteed. Handlery Hotel and Resort This hotel was chosen for its central location, proximity to public transportation, low group rates (even during peak season), and great pools. Each room has 2 double beds, Internet access through Web TV, coffee/tea brewers, voice mail, bedside clock radios, irons and ironing boards, and refrigerators. The hotel has three heated swimming pools. On site are a full fitness center, restaurant, beauty salon, gift shop, ticket agency, and Enterprise car rental agency. Also on site are lighted tennis courts, volleyball, paddle tennis, and basketball courts. 27-hole championship Riverwalk Golf Course and Driving Range is adjacent to the hotel. A shuttle is available to and from San Diego's airport. Each room has two double beds and can hold up to four people. The base rate for double occupancy is $99 per night. It's an additional $10 per extra person in the room. Children under 14 years of age are at no additional charge. We can arrange for 1 to 3 roommates for you to split the cost of the room ($30-$50 per night per person). See the Room Sharing section below. These rates are available when booking in bulk, so you will need to pay your room fees along with your registration fee. Cancellations can be made up to 48 hours in advance, and your room fee will be returned. Floor space will be available, and you may luck into a couch or guest room space. Lodging Elsewhere If you will be finding your own accommodations, staying with friends, or are a local and want to join in the reunion activities, we will be leaving each morning from the Handlery Hotel. We will have a detailed schedule available at least by the week of the reunion posted on this Web site, so you can join us at the hotel or at the activity. You will be responsible for arranging your own accomodations (if applicable), and also for the reunion registration fee.
